who & why
The name I carry is eQuanimiti joy , I often get the question, "Are you a Buddhist?" ... and my answer is "I'm a one-of-a-kind" which covers it I think, don't you?

I was raised up outside a
city.
I spent most summers in farm country where I was looked
after by my grandmother Marjorie and her six sisters, all with the first
initial M to their names. I was allowed to rattle 'round the barn, and
play in the woods, and was expected to pick peas and beans and radishes
from the garden for supper.
I was also expected to show something for
my day's time so I wrote stories, and drew pictures, and made up
dances and songs to present to my elders in the evening on the summer
porch after the supper dishes were washed and dried and put on the shelf in the pantry.
I went to college and
graduated with a degree in English, then ran away to New York City to join a
modern dance touring company and, over the next ten years, to dance with
other famous and infamous modern dance choreographers.
As fate would
have it I took a spill and I took a job with a computer magazine,
putting that English degree to work and getting transferred from
Manhattan to rural New Hampshire for one year.
That was 20
years ago and I still haven't gotten around to moving back to NYC, for
you see, I started writing stories, and drawing pictures, and making up
dances and songs again.
